NK F/GFX v2.0+ Firmware introduction

NK F/GFX v2.0 or later firmware feature introduction

About IBIS ( Camera body’s Image Stabilization )

For F-mount lenses without IS function, IBIS was enabled on GFX 100, can be switch on/off in camera body’s function menu.

For F-mount lenses with VR function,  IBIS will not be activated. Lens VR and IBIS can’t work at the same time, maybe future after our study.

About Auto ISO

When type G or D F-mount lens mounted on the adapter, please turn on Auto ISO to avoid LCD/EVF display flashing.

About PDAF ( Phase-difference driven Auto-Focus )

Due to the current limitation of NK F/GFX adapter, only lens with electromagnetic diaphragm is compatible with FUJI’s PDAF after tuned. G/D type F-mount lens will be possible to do PDAF in our coming new adapter with auto aperture lever.

Tuned F-mount lenses ( Listed below ) can activate PDAF in GFX 100 camera or future GFX cameras with PDAF capability, but not in GFX 50R and 50S.

F-mount lens was tuned in all PDAF focus points of GFX 100, from center to corner ( beyond focus points of 35mm auto corp. mode) , but focus points in corner may performs poor when using certain lens which has serious vignetting issue.

All Lens were tuned in 3 x 3 focus points of Zone AF mode, and  in Continuous-AF mode, and from full aperture opening to minimum aperture.

In CAF mode, depends on which lens, AF performance may be poor in smaller apertures and corner focus points , change to Single-AF may improves.

Face and eye detection works too, and movie shooting was improved a lot.

F-mount lenses not tuned yet will do CBAF in GFX 100. On GFX 50S and 50R bodies, all F-mount lenses work in CBAF mode, but tuned EF lens may performs better.

Lens tuning was very time consuming, more lenses to be tuned in future once we have lens in hand, stay tuned.

Lens body’s focus range selection may affect PDAF performance, please make sure infinity was included in you AF range selection.
